Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 16 October 2026
These terms apply to your use of this website, which is operated by Digimatic Studio (Private) Limited (“Digimatic”, “we”, “us”). By using the website you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
Website use and client work are separate. Nothing can be purchased on this website. Any software, licence, subscription or development, design or marketing service we provide is governed by a separate written agreement with you. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement prevails.

02Using the website
The website provides information about Digimatic, our services and our products, and lets you contact us. You agree to use it lawfully and not to:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers or related systems;
- interfere with its operation, including by introducing malicious code or overloading it;
- submit false, misleading, automated or unsolicited enquiries;
- scrape or copy content in bulk, or use it to build a competing product or dataset;
- use the website in a way that infringes anyone’s rights or breaks any law.
03Intellectual property
The website and its content, including text, design, graphics, product interfaces, the Digimatic name and logo, belong to Digimatic or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view pages and share links for personal or internal business reference. Any other copying, reproduction, adaptation or commercial use requires our prior written permission. Ownership of work we create for a client is set out in that client’s agreement.
04Enquiries, proposals and quotations
Sending an enquiry does not create a contract or oblige either party to proceed. Proposals and quotations are invitations to agree terms. They are valid for the period stated in them and may depend on information you provide. A project starts only when both parties have accepted a written agreement setting out the scope, deliverables, timeline, fees and other terms.
05Software products, subscriptions and licences
Descriptions of our products on this website are general information, not an offer. Access to any Digimatic product is provided only under a separate licence, subscription or service agreement, which sets out the permitted use, usage restrictions, service levels (if any), fees and term. Features, integrations and availability described on this website are confirmed for each customer in that agreement. Interfaces shown on this website are illustrative unless stated otherwise.
06Service agreements
Every project, product or subscription is covered by a written agreement: a signed proposal or statement of work, an order form or a subscription agreement. It sets out the scope, deliverables, timeline, fees and any service levels. If it differs from these terms, the written agreement applies to the services it covers. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately and starts only once you approve the change in writing.
07Fees, deposits and milestone payments
Unless your agreement says otherwise:
- For custom projects (websites, apps, software, design, branding and similar work), 50% of the project fee is invoiced as a deposit when the agreement is signed, and work is scheduled once it is received. The remaining 50% is invoiced on delivery and is payable before final handover or launch.
- Larger projects may divide the second half into milestones, which the proposal sets out.
- Fees are quoted in Pakistani rupees or US dollars as stated in the proposal, exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise, and are payable by bank transfer within 7 days of the invoice date.
- If an invoice is overdue, we may pause work or access after giving you written notice. Agreed timelines move by the length of any pause.
- Third-party costs you approve, such as domains, hosting, licences, stock assets or advertising spend, are billed at cost or paid by you directly.
08Delivery and acceptance
- We deliver in the stages set out in your agreement, normally for review on a private preview link before anything goes live.
- You have 7 business days to review each delivery and either approve it or send one combined list of changes. If we hear nothing in that time, the delivery is treated as accepted.
- The proposal states how many rounds of revisions are included. Further changes are quoted separately.
- Timelines depend on content, access and feedback arriving when agreed. Delays on either side move the schedule.
- For 30 days after launch we fix defects in the delivered work free of charge. Ongoing support, maintenance and hosting are available under a separate plan.
- Ownership of the custom work you have paid for, including source code where the agreement includes it, passes to you once all invoices for the project are paid. Our existing tools, libraries and products remain ours and are licensed to you as needed to use the work.
09Subscriptions, renewals and cancellation
- Our software products are offered on monthly or annual plans, billed in advance for each period.
- Plans renew automatically for the same period unless you cancel in writing at least 30 days before the renewal date.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Fees already paid for that period are not refunded, except where the law requires it or where we have seriously failed to provide the service and not put it right within a reasonable time after your written notice.
- We give at least 30 days of written notice of any price change, which applies from your next renewal.
- Setup, data migration and training are quoted and invoiced separately from the plan.
- After cancellation you can ask for an export of your data for 30 days. After that it is deleted, as set out in your agreement and any data processing terms agreed with you.
10Cancelling a project and refunds
- You can cancel a project at any time by telling us in writing.
- If you cancel before work has started, we refund the deposit in full within 14 days.
- Once work has started, the deposit is not refundable, as it covers onboarding, planning and the first stage of work. You pay for the work completed up to the cancellation date and for third-party costs already committed on your behalf.
- If you have paid more than the value of that work and those costs, we refund the difference within 14 days.
- We may end a project by written notice if an invoice remains unpaid 30 days after a reminder, or if continuing would be unlawful. You then pay for the work completed up to that date.
- Completed work is handed over once all amounts due for it are paid.
- Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.
11Third-party services and links
The website may link to or rely on third-party websites and services, such as social media platforms. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.
12Availability and changes
We aim to keep the website available and accurate, but it may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the website, and update the products and services described on it, without notice.
13Disclaimers
The website is provided for general information on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or complete, and its content is not professional advice for your particular situation. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Digimatic is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or business opportunity, arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website. Because the website is provided free of charge, our total liability to you in connection with your use of it is limited to the extent permitted by law.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. Liability under a separate project or product agreement is governed by that agreement.
15Indemnity
If you use the website on behalf of a business and that business breaches these terms, it agrees to compensate Digimatic for reasonable losses and costs arising from that breach, to the extent permitted by law. This section does not apply to consumers.
16Suspension of access
We may restrict or block access to the website, including the contact form, where we reasonably believe it is being misused or used in breach of these terms.
17Privacy
How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
18Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts at Karachi have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. A signed service or subscription agreement may choose a different governing law and forum, in which case that agreement applies to the services it covers.
If you are a consumer, you also keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of the law of the country where you live, and you may be able to bring proceedings in your local courts where that law gives you the right to do so. If you have a concern, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally.
19Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the current version. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
